Sanding and Refinishing Floors
The most popular jobs we do are refinishing existing floors which haven't been sanded for years. There are many different sanding and finishing situations - from very old floors with thick, softer finishes to newer floors that have been neglected. Or maybe, the customer wants to change the stain color to match a new look in their home. One of our highlights is our technique for sanding and finishing. We always go through the proper sequence of sanding grits to achieve the ideal results.
New Wood Floor Installations
Just as popular are new hardwood floor installations. These projects may involve tearing out the existing carpet and top layer of the sub-floor. For new installations, we can buy and deliver the wood for customers or customers can purchase it themselves, then we install, sand, and finish the new floors!
Patching and Repairing Old Wood
Another service that's popular amongst customers is repair work. Say, for example, you have an old floor with some pet stains, we can skillfully remove the bad boards and replace them with new, matching floorboards to make the overall floor look new and crisp again. These repairs are always nailed and glued for long-term stability.
This service is also used to fill in areas that don't have flooring, such as the space where a wall has been torn down, a ground vent that's no longer needed, or a kitchen cabinet remodel.

We work on new and old hardwood stairs, sanding and refinishing them to give a new shine that will last many years!
